Visit to his British homeland confirmed

Prince Harry will come to London in early May. His wife Meghan will probably not accompany him.
There has long been speculation as to whether Prince Harry (39) will travel to his British homeland for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, which he founded. The reported on Sunday British “Sun” now, that the renegade royal will actually come to Britain. A spokesman for the sporting event for wounded and sick servicemen and women has confirmed that the Duke of Sussex will take part in the anniversary service in London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 8th and give a reading. The presence of his wife Meghan (42) and their two children have not been confirmed.
It will be Harry’s first visit to Great Britain since his sister-in-law Princess Kate (42) announced her cancer on March 22nd. British media assume that Meghan, son Archie and daughter Lilibet will stay in Montecito. The Duchess accompanied her husband to many Invictus Games events in Toronto, Sydney, The Hague, Düsseldorf and Vancouver. However, she was last seen in September 2022 at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) in Great Britain. The coronation of King Charles III. on May 6, 2023 she stayed away because Archie celebrated his fourth birthday that day. The upcoming anniversary also coincides with the boy’s special day: he turns five just two days before.
Will Harry meet his father and brother?
In addition to Meghan’s participation, royal experts are also wondering whether Harry will take the opportunity to meet his father Charles and his brother William (41) and possibly even reconcile. The king is said to be ready, he also welcomed Harry when he received a cancer diagnosis after his prostate operation. However, as “The Sun” reported, it could be difficult in terms of time alone: While Harry will be at the Invictus Games service from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time, his relatives have other commitments. The first garden party of the year is scheduled to take place at Buckingham Palace from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, it is said that heir to the throne William apparently has no interest in a discussion.
Harry quickly headed back to California during his past visits to Great Britain. Royal observers therefore assume that the current London trip will only be short-lived, especially since Frogmore Cottage is no longer available to him as accommodation.
Damian Lewis is supposed to read a poem
The first Invictus Games took place in London in 2014, which will be honored with the anniversary service on May 8th. The British actor Damian Lewis (53) will recite the Invictus poem. Representatives are expected to come from all participating Invictus Games nations. Members, supporters and beneficiaries will also give readings. Rev. Andrew Tremlett will lead the service.
