Fatal leisure accident on Wednesday in the Tyrolean Ausserfern: A 39-year-old German fell while mountain biking and sustained serious injuries.
The momentous accident occurred in the Rinnen district of Berwang. The 39-year-old was driving on a slightly sloping municipal road shortly before 10.30 a.m. when she probably braked too hard and was thrown forward onto the road.
With rescue to the hospital
According to the police, the German suffered a serious injury to her right upper arm. After the first aid at the accident site, she was taken to the Reutte district hospital with the ambulance.
