It is just before 8.45 p.m. on Friday when a driver is driving on the Mittelgäustrasse in Kappel SO in the direction of Wangen near Olten. Then it happens: in the out-of-town area, the car hit a pedestrian († 30). According to the current state of knowledge, the man was on the unlit street.
The 30-year-old was seriously injured in the accident and flown to the hospital. There he succumbed to his injuries.
The Mittelgäustrasse between Kappel and Wangen near Olten had to be closed while the rescue workers were deployed. A detour was set up by firefighters.
