According to Reuters, the ECB will discuss a hike in key rates of 75 basis points next month

Half an hour before the long-awaited speech by Jerome Powell, the president of the American central bank, within the framework of the monetary policy symposium in Jackson Hole, the Reuters agency reports that, according to sources, the ECB wants to discuss an increase in key rates by 75 basis points next month.

Isabel Schnabel, member of the Executive Board of the ECB, is on the Jackson Hole program tomorrow, in a panel which will also bring together François Villeroy de Galhau, of the Banque de France, around the theme “The prospects for post-pandemic policy”.
