Accused of rape and sexual assault by five women, host Sébastien Cauet continues to proclaim his innocence. Friday February 9, he wanted to denounce a “plot” fomented against him.
Now the target of five complaints for rape and sexual assault, as well as testimonies from former colleagues denouncing his behavior, Sébastien Cauet does not give up. The one who already proclaimed his innocence last December reiterated this Friday, February 9, reports BFMTV. On his broadcast channel on Instagram, where he can directly communicate with his subscribers, the host of NRJ12 notably suggested that he was “very easy to destroy someone today”. Sébastien Cauet himself filed several complaints for harassmentfor “slanderous denunciation” and for “attempted extortion of funds by an organized gang, slanderous denunciation, forgery and uses against unnamed persons”. Patterns that return filigree in his last words: “You put people who decide out of jealousy, out of greed, to have money to set up a conspiracy and give false testimony and you get what’s going on with me today”.

According to him, evidence of the extortion was found and transmitted to the police “three months ago”. Since then, Sébastien Cauet has explained to wait “let things move forward” and that the situation “begins to [le] tired”. His show usually broadcast on NRJ is no longer on the air since the end of November, suspended until further notice. Sébastien Cauet took the radio station to court in mid-January, demanding its return to the airwaves. On Instagram, he regrets “the loss of the show, the loss of a company, the dismissal of around twenty people with lies”. For him, “everyone walks on the presumption of innocence, everyone tramples on it, everyone sits on it”.
Sébastien Cauet has not yet been heard by investigators
After the complaint filed in November by Julie, a 25-year-old young woman who accuses Sébastien Cauet of having raped her in 2014 and 2023 (when she was respectively 15 and 24 years old), a preliminary investigation into rape of a minor over 15 years old and rape has been opened. The host responded by filing a complaint for “slanderous denunciation, forgery and uses against unnamed people”. Reacting to the broadcast, Friday February 9, of a BFMTV documentary giving the floor to several complainants, Sébastien Cauet added: “I saw people talking who I didn’t recognize.” Anyone who claims to be a victim of “incredible handling” must still be heard by investigators in that case.
