According to the manufacturer, the MediaTek Octa-Core ARM Cortex A73/A53 (MT8183) processor enables low power consumption and responsive software. There is also 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of flash memory as a hard drive. WLAN 802.11ac, Bluetooth and a USB-C and USB 2.0 port are also on board.
The equipment is therefore more suitable for web surfing, word processing, simple image editing and video playback. Demanding applications such as high-end gaming and video editing are hardly possible. But the cheap and handy Chromebooks are not aimed at this target group anyway.
