Almost a year after their demonstration denouncing the management of the company, the employees will again go on strike to denounce gender inequalities.

A few weeks after the publication of an internal investigation clearing the management of previous accusations, employees ofActivision Blizzard King go on strike. This strike comes as a result of the reversal of the Roe V Wade judgment in the United States.

America’s dependent health care system companies, women and members of the LGBTQ+ community also share their concerns here about the dangers and inequalities raised by cancellation of the decree.

Employees want Activision Blizzard management meets their requirements in order toensure the safety of company employees. Here are some of the strikers’ demands:

  1. All Activision Blizzard King employees should have the option to choose fully remote work. For positions that cannot be operated outside of a physical office, employees should be given the option of relocating to an office in a safe state or country.
  2. All Activision Blizzard King employees currently residing in locations that pass discriminatory legislation should be offered relocation assistance to a safe state or country. Benefits for out-of-state medical care currently leave employees open to legal action and do not keep workers away from imminent danger.
  3. Activision Blizzard King must adjust the compensation of employees who move to a safe state or country to the cost of living in order to avoid discriminatory legislation. This will ensure that the comparatively higher cost of living in safe locations does not prevent employees from taking advantage of these relocation measures.
  4. Activision Blizzard King must ensure that our health insurance partner continues to cover transgender and reproductive health care, including abortion. For employees who must travel to receive this life-saving care, Activision Blizzard King must cover ALL travel expenses. This will ensure that these procedures are affordable and logistically possible, regardless of where they take place.
  5. Management must immediately and transparently put plans in place to allow relocation from places that pass anti-abortion, anti-LGBT+, or other demonstrably discriminatory legislation. This measure and our demands above will ensure that no worker will have to compromise their safety to earn a living.
  6. Employees should be included in the audit/report requested by shareholders to ensure that our sexual harassment audit was conducted fairly and comprehensively. This will ensure that our employees are protected and supported in the event of future harassment.
  7. Activision Blizzard King management must agree to hold regular meetings with members of the worker-led Sexual and Gender Discrimination Committee. This will help ensure an open dialogue between employees and management to foster a safer and more welcoming workplace.
  8. Activision Blizzard King needs to sign a labor neutrality agreement like Microsoft did, so we can all freely organize a union now and negotiate things like this in a legally binding contract.
