Social benefits, including the RSA, the activity bonus and family allowances, increased by 1.6% on April 1, less than a year after the 4% increase which had been granted early in July 2022. Family allowances
The monthly amount of family allowances varies according to the number and age of children cared for in the household and the level of resources. For a family of two children, it rises per month 35.50 euros, 71 euros or 141.99 eurosdepending on your resource level.
Example: if your 2021 annual resources are less than 71,194 euros, you will receive the maximum amount. The other income threshold (which separates the 2nd and 3rd tranche of resources) is 94,893 euros.
activity bonus
There activity bonus is a social aid that encourages the resumption of professional activity, even partial. It is calculated on the basis of a quarterly declaration. The premium payment takes into account the resources of the whole household members.

Family supplement
The family supplement is intended for families with at least three dependent children 3 20 years old. Depending on your income, you can obtain aid of between 184.80 euros and 277.23 euros per month.
Bonus for birth or adoption
Paid at the beginning of the 7th month of pregnancy or adoption, if the resources for 2021 do not exceed a certain ceiling (43,665 euros for a child), its amount is:
- 1019.40 euros for a birth;
- 2038.81 euros for an adoption.
In case of multiple births or adoptionsthe Caf pays out as many bonuses as there are children born or adopted.
Moreover, the basic allowance paid to cover education-related expenses of her child is now 184.81 euros per month at the full rate and 92.40 euros per month at the partial rate.
Free choice of childcare supplement
The supplement for free choice of childcare (CMG) is paid to parents who are employees or beneficiaries of the RSA who use a childminder or crèche to take care of their child(ren) under the age of 6. Its amount is conditional on the income of the parents. At most, for the most modest households and having a child under 3 years old, the monthly amount of the CMG increases to 506 euros.
Back-to-school allowance
The payment of the ARS is automatic per child, aged 6 to 18 years old.
- 6-10 years: 398.09 euros;
- 11-14 years old: 420.05 euros;
- 15-18 years old: 434.61 euros.
The transfer is made in August.
The Shared Education of the Child Benefit
The Child Education Shared Benefit (PreParE) is intended for parents who stop or reduce their professional activity to take care of their children under 3 (or under 20 if they are adopted).
Its monthly amount is now 428.71 euros in the event of total cessation of activity, 277.14 euros for a duration of work less than or equal to half-time, and 159.87 euros for a working time between 50% and 80%.
AAH
Allowance for adults with disabilities (AAH) now sees its maximum amount reach 971.37 euros per month. It depends on the family and professional situation as well as the recipient’s resources.
On his side, Disabled child education allowance (Aeeh) is 142.70 euros per month for a disabled child under 20 years old. This amount may be increased by one supplement of 107.02 euros 1210.90 euros depending on the reduction or termination of the parents’ professional activity, the hiring of a paid third party and the amount of expenses related to the child’s disability.
SAR
The Solidarity Income (Rso) is paid in the overseas departments only. Its maximum monthly amount is now set at 572.40 euros.
