ZURICH, Nov 3 (Reuters) – Adecco reported third-quarter sales broadly in line with forecasts on Thursday, as the group benefited in particular from a stronger dollar and recent acquisitions.
The Swiss-based group said its revenue in the three months to the end of September rose 16% to 6.044 billion euros, in line with a forecast of 6.039 billion euros. a consensus of analysts.
On a comparable basis, which removes the impact of business days, currencies and acquisitions, Adecco’s sales increased 6%.
Net profit, however, fell 19% to 108 million euros, although slightly above the forecast of 106 million euros.
