Adecco has warned its employees, former employees and former candidates about a possible leak of some of their personal data. The group specializing in temporary work sent an email to temporary workers a few days ago to warn them of a theft of several data, according to The Parisian.
In the message shared by concerned internet users, Adecco confirms that some “personal data present in one of [leurs] information systems (surnames, first names, e-mail addresses, social security numbers and bank details) have been potentially disclosed “.

Adecco explains having “took the necessary measures to remedy this situation and further secure the data that [leur] are entrusted”. The company also specified that it had informed the National Commission for Computing and Liberties (CNIL), filed a complaint and sent the file to the judicial police.
Second wave of emails
In early November, Adecco announced in a communicated : “Several testimonials [étaient apparus] on social networks reporting deductions of a sum of 49.85 euros by the company “Solfex France SASU”, which we do not know and which does not belong to the Adecco group. »
The temping company added that it had “immediately launched an internal investigation”but that, “to date, no link has[vait] been established between these fraudulent direct debits made by a third-party company and the missions of [ses] interims”.
It would be, according to The Parisian, “of the same data leak, and a second wave of emails about it. But unlike the employees affected in early November, the last alerted would not be affected by the leak of their bank details.
