Singer sweeps away at Brit Awards

Adele didn’t just glamor on the red carpet at the 2022 Brit Awards. She has also received multiple awards.
At the Brit Awards in London in 2022 there was no way around Adele (33). The singer not only enchanted the audience with her appearance on the red carpet and a performance of her song “I Drink Wine”. This year’s queen of the awards ceremony could also in three of the most important categories against well-known competition assert.
Artist, Album and Song of the Year
On the one hand, Adele received the title “Artist of the Year” and was able to prevail against Ed Sheeran (30), among others. With her record “30” she also snatched the award for “Album of the Year” from her colleague’s nose. Last but not least, Adele also secured the “Song of the Year” award for “Easy On Me”. So far, the 33-year-old has won a total of twelve Brit trophies in her career.
Wolf Alice was honored as the best British band of the evening. Other prizes went to Billie Eilish (20) as “International Artist of the Year”, to The War on Drugs as Best International Band and to Dua Lipa (26) as Best Pop/R&B Artist. “Good 4 u” by Olivia Rodrigo (18) was awarded the best international song.
