Advent campaign over – 24 small works of art for “DaHuam4Kids”

The artist Michaela Baldia from Pilgersdorf painted one picture from December 1st to 24th and auctioned it off for a good cause.

Michaela Baldia is happy and happy to be healthy herself and to have a healthy child. That’s why she wanted to help those who weren’t so lucky and were looking after a sick or disabled child all the more. She chose the club “DaHuam4Kids” because it was right in her neighborhood. The association is an association of parents of children with disabilities. They strive to provide the best possible care (day care and residential care) close to home for children and young people with special needs in Central Burgenland. “I don’t really know what the parents of the children from DaHuam4Kids do on a daily basis, nor do I know how much money it costs to look after them Children costs. And it is beyond my intellectual horizon to imagine how much money and energy it may cost to create a place and a framework where your children are well looked after. But I wanted to help them a little with all of this,” explains the artist. That’s why she painted and auctioned one picture during Advent from December 1st to 24th and auctioned it off via social media. A total of 3,930 euros were raised. Baldia also introduced one of the club’s children every day via social media and dedicated one of her pictures to each one. A great idea – and great young people who enjoy life despite their impairment.
