(CercleFinance.com) – The Dutch insurance company Aegon announces on Friday that it has successfully finalized the sale of its 50% stake in the Spanish insurance joint venture with Liberbank to Unicaja Banco.
As announced on May 23, this sale follows the change in control of Liberbank following its merger with Unicaja Banco in 2021. Aegon Spain intends to return the net proceeds of the transaction at group level.
