Affluent Medical: Christophe Giot is appointed Vice-President of Clinical Affairs















(Boursier.com) — French medtech Affluent Medical announces the appointment of Dr. Christophe Giot as Vice-President Clinical Affairs. Dr. Giot will report directly to the Chairman and CEO and joins the COMEX.

His extensive experience in the management of clinical operations and in cardiology will be essential in the development and acceleration of the 3 clinical programs currently underway, with the objective of launching and commercializing our medical devices Kalios and Artus from 2024, then Epygon. from 2026.

After a medical practice in public and private hospitals, particularly in the field of vascular diseases, Dr. Giot held positions of clinical responsibility in numerous international pharmaceutical groups (Sanofi, Astra Zeneca, UCB, Bristol Myers Squibb and Actelion). He was then, since 2014, Director of Clinical Affairs Europe for Edwards Lifesciences (Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid therapies) and more recently Chief Medical Officer at Terumo for the EMEA zone. Christophe Giot is a cardiologist by training and studied at the Free University of Brussels.
