On her Twitter account, she confessed that the answer was more embarrassing than other things. In fact, she discovered thatshe had sent her period tracker data rather than his CV to these 60 postulates.
“I will never forget that I applied, for months, for jobs when I was 17 and never got an answer, only to realize about 60 times later that I had attached my menstrual tracker and not my CV“, she tweeted. This error has obviously aroused the interest of Internet users because his post garnered more than 496,000 likes. People weren’t shy about congratulating her on the giggles her story engendered. “Thanks for the laugh today“, wrote a user. “It made me laugh out loud. I hope you found good jobs afterwards. You deserve it”, wrote another.
A not-so-mundane situation…
This tweet resulted in some equally impressive revelations. In addition to the people who had the giggles, recruiters also came forward. In particular, they confessed received quite a few bad attachments from applicants. “I received everything from nudes, travel documents and even a death certificate“, told a recruiter.
Some people also admit to have been in the same situation as Ashleigh Keenan by accidentally sending the wrong attachment. “I sent my resume to my MSN mailbox and I completely forgot that the picture that came with it was me in my underpants standing at attention.”, says a man. “I applied for a job once and accidentally sent Johnny Cash’s Hurt lyrics instead of a resume“, commented another.
