Following this expeditionthe director had made the documentary The Odyssey of a Dream.

It is in the middle of the crossing that Lucie Robin had the idea of throw that bottle overboard. “In the middle of the night, we had just been told that we had officially completed half of the expedition. We were right in the middle of the Atlantic. It was a way for me to immortalize this day filled with joy “she explains to the newspaper Ouest-France.

Lucie Robin: “I thought it was a hoax”

followed a decade of silence, no return, dead calm. Until the beginning of 2022. “I received a message from an English-speaking man, a certain Clint Buffington. He explained to me that he lived in the United States and that he had found my message. At first, I thought it was a joke , I thought it was a hoax”, says the director. In order to prove his statements, the young man sent him photos and a video of sound incredible discovery.
