Samsung recently started distributing Android 14 for its Galaxy phones. The next update for the devices is now available for download.
Just a few days ago, Samsung started distributing Android 14 for its Galaxy phones. Not all of the models intended for this have received the update yet, but another update is already available for download: the November patch.
According to the fan blog SamMobile, Samsung is using it to fix 65 errors and security gaps that were discovered on the devices in the past few weeks. The company considers five of these to be critical. You should definitely install the update as soon as it is offered to you, even if it does not contain any new functions.
The November update is available for these Galaxy phones
According to SamMobile, it is currently available to download for the following smartphones:
- Samsung Galaxy S21
- Samsung Galaxy S21+
- Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
- Samsung Galaxy A03s
- Samsung Galaxy A21s
- Samsung Galaxy M01
The release for other devices is expected to take place shortly. The November patch is around 200 megabytes in size. Download and installation should only take a few minutes. You can find out how to install the update in the linked instructions.
Please note: Android 14 and the November patch are distributed independently of each other. So one update is not a prerequisite for the other.
