After bankruptcy – prefabricated house giants want insolvent model park

The Eugendorfer Musterhauspark GmbH slid into bankruptcy (liabilities: 9.4 million euros). Now a restart is in the offing.

The operator of the prefabricated house park in Eugendorf is broke. Musterparkhaus GmbH has filed an application for restructuring proceedings without self-administration at the Salzburg Regional Court. Liabilities amount to €9.4 million. 18 employees are affected – parks in Graz and Haid are also operated. Above all, the loss of providers led to bankruptcy, according to spokesman Thomas Blümke – German providers have withdrawn from the market: “With fewer exhibitors, demand is decreasing.” And: the bankruptcy of the subsidiary Scalahaus is also having an effect. Now seven manufacturers of prefabricated houses, such as Elk and Wolf Haus, want to take over the parks together. Talks have been going on for weeks. “The parks are an extremely sales-supporting instrument,” says Christian Murhammer from the prefabricated house association.
