Taron Egerton collapsed on a London theater stage over the weekend. He can now joke about the incident again.
“Rocketman” and “Kingsman” star Taron Egerton (32) caused a moment of shock last Saturday (March 5). At the premiere of the play “Cock” in London, the actor collapsed and the event had to be ended early. In an Instagram story, Egerton has now spoken up and calmed his approximately 2.5 million followers.
“I’m absolutely fine,” writes the star. He only suffered minor injuries from the collapse: “I only have a sore neck and an affected ego, otherwise everything is fine.” He wanted to be back on stage for the performance this Monday (March 7th). This time over the full distance, he promises.

“I would appreciate it if everyone who was in the theater last night could say that I gave a dedicated, electrifying performance that my body just couldn’t take and gave up,” jokes the 32-year-old.
