After collision – Viennese woman left injured by skier

A 22-year-old Viennese woman was injured in a collision in the Gerlitzen ski area in Carinthia. The person involved in the accident fled while the young woman was being cared for.

The 22-year-old was traveling down the Klösterle run in the Gerlitzen ski area on December 25th around 11:15 a.m. with alpine skis. “At a piste crossing she collided with a previously unknown skier,” explains the police. Description of the person The Viennese woman was injured to an unspecified degree and, after receiving initial medical care, was taken to the Villach LKH by the “Alpin 1” rescue helicopter. “The unknown person drove away while he was being treated.” According to the description, he was a man around 60 years old, wearing a red ski suit and white glasses with yellow lenses.
