Disney seems to have found a powerful ally by approaching Gameloft. The French publisher is currently working on two projects for Mickey’s group, with Disney Dreamlight Valleyrecently released in Early Access, and disney speedstorm, a Mario Kart style racing game. If the first came out well in 2022, the second missed the mark and recently announced a postponement to next year. This does not prevent him from unveiling a new trailer.
Mickey is in the street
To tell the truth, nothing really new in this video, which serves above all to promote the title. However, like any trailer in kinematics, we must admit that the rendering in CGI has something to make curious, just by wanting to discover Mickey very pissed on the track. The trailer then shows us Sully, Jack Sparrow and Mickey sinter to the protagonist in a race that goes at full speed. Shortcuts, overtaking through the air, rocket fire, nothing stops our Disney heroes who absolutely want to be in the lead. If the result will of course be different in game, we can’t help but let out a smile when we see our star mouse in a racing suit and Sully who is determined to fight it out.
For the moment, no release date has been announced but disney speedstorm was recently pushed back to 2023. It is known to be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch and will be available for free to download with in-game purchases. Disney characters and worlds are expected, including Monsters & Co., Mulan or even Baloo and Mowgli.
