This new television work is called Culprits and it is adapted from the novel Culprits: The Heist Was Just the Beginning by Richard Brewer and Gary Phillips. Created by J Blakeson (The 5th Wave, Gunpowder, I Care A Lot), this British series mainly focuses on the character of Joe Petrus.
This former henchman now lives with his fiancé and his children in a small peaceful town in the United States. But he hides a secret: three years ago, he was recruited by Dianne Harewood, a notorious British criminal, to join her team and participate in a high-flying crime that would make Joe a rich man and give him a whole new life.
Today, his past catches up with him as a masked killer kills all the members of this team of robbers one after the other to get back to Diane. Will he succeed in protecting his new peaceful life and surviving?
