Netflix hit “One Piece” broke the curse of bad anime adaptations. Will this be the case for this new series?

The animated series Yu Yu Hakushowhich includes no less than 112 episodes, is adapted from the cult manga by Yoshihiro Togashi (who is none other than the husband of the creator of Sailor MoonNaoko Takeuchi), a founding work of shônen manga from the early 90s in the same way as Dragon Ball And Slam Dunk.

The plot of the fantasy anime revolves around Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old thug who dies while saving a little boy. He is then offered to return to life but under certain conditions. When he is resurrected, he becomes a ghost detective and must now hunt the demons that are plaguing the human world.
