Some demonstrators disguised as pigs climbed onto the canopy of the Chamber of Agriculture building with a ladder to “armed” them with megaphones to express their opinion on animal husbandry on fully slatted floors, while like-minded people on the forecourt of the chamber, equipped with posters and straw, did the same. According to these “Carinthians against animal cruelty”, the chamber is covering up animal cruelty, has long known about the recent abuse in the Klagenfurt-Land district, but has not acted.
