“Great, the bet counts!” is the motto again this year. Thomas Gottschalk will again moderate the show.
The 14 million viewers at the special edition of “Wetten, dass…?” in November 2021 are reason enough: the successful show will be continued this year and the following year, reports ZDF.
When exactly the show with bizarre betting ideas will take place is not yet known. It is certain that it should happen in the fall and that Thomas Gottschalk will greet the stars on the famous couch.
The talk show host, who will be 72 this May, moderated “Wetten, dass ..?” from 1987 to 1992 and from 1994 to 2011. He had announced his retirement from the show after a fatal accident occurred while betting in December 2010.

“Bet that..?” is a production of ZDF, SRF and ORF and is broadcast on these three channels.
