To everyone’s surprise, a few days ago, the American comedian posted an incredible announcement on his Instagram account, declaring that he had just been chosen to interpret… Mickey Mouse, the famous mascot with the big ears of the Disney studios .
“I am proud to announce that I will be the main voice in the upcoming film adaptation of Disney’s Mickey Mouse. Get ready, the movie will hit the big screen in 2025!”, he thus announced.
While some fans reacted strongly upon reading the news, others immediately took into account the date the message was posted: Saturday, April 1.
As one might suspect, this false declaration was therefore neither more nor less than a little joke by Chris Pratt, for the attention of all those who had been skeptical or even scathing when his role in Super Mario Bros was announced in September 2021.
