After The Frame TV, Samsung launches The Frame speaker


In Las Vegas, Samsung announced the launch of The Music Frame, a speaker hidden in a wall frame. Alas, it is not a screen, but a still image.

At CES in Las Vegas, Samsung is planning a large number of announcements. The design of The Music Frame is very cool

Why did you create The Music Frame? We can imagine that the success of televisions of the same name, which transform into paintings thanks to their anti-reflective coating, has something to do with it. Why not expand The Frame into other categories, for fans of discreet tech products?

With The Music Frame, Samsung offers square frames that hang on the wall. They are connected to the power with a transparent cable, which makes them easy to hide. The sound quality is good, but the speaker doesn’t sound like a speaker. The user has the choice between their own image and a personalized frame, which they can purchase on the Samsung website. It is not a screen, probably to reduce costs.

Unknown element for the moment: the price. How much will Samsung sell its speaker for? It’s not just a Bluetooth device, since it can be used to create a sound system with a brand television. In addition, we imagine that AI, for voice commands, could also be integrated.

Samsung’s transparent TV impresses

Finally, while waiting for Samsung’s major conference dedicated to artificial intelligence, the brand showed the first version of its transparent Micro-LED television. The result is quite impressive, with the possibility of superimposing several images on top of each other (the football match in the background, the statistics in front). Unfortunately, 3D is impossible to show in photos.
