Spy shots recently revealed an SUV undergoing road testing in China. With its lines reminiscent of the Ferrari Purosangue, here are the first images of the MX11, Xiaomi’s next electric vehicle.
Xiaomithe Chinese smartphone giant, recently entered the automotive industry this year with its SU7 electric sedan. Since its launch last March, the SU7 has been a dazzling success, with 120,000 units ordered in just 36 hours. This sedan has won over many users thanks to its impressive performance and his competetive price which allow it to compete with the Tesla Model 3.
A few days ago, a prototype of the Xiaomi SU7 was seen in action on a circuit. This gives us a glimpse of the brand’s ambitions in terms of performance. But it’s another vehicle that has just caught our attention: Xiaomi’s first SUV, named MX11. Again camouflagedthe latter presents lines strongly reminiscent of those of the Ferrari Purosangue…Or the Mazda CX-5 for the haters.

Inspired by prestigious models like Porsche and McLaren, the MX11 takes design elements from the SU7. It presents a pside profile similar to the Ferrari Purosangue. Its grille has integrated headlights reminiscent of those of the Xiaomi sedan. Its coupe-shaped roof, which extends to the rear, suggests a sporty figure almost modeled on its Ferrari counterpart.
Details such as side mirrors, cameras, yellow brake calipers, five-spoke wheels and the exposed taillights appear to be a clever mix of current sports cars and the first sedan from this Chinese manufacturer. Another interesting detail, the MX11 also sports a roof mounted lidar, similar to that of the SU7. The aim of this is to improve the detection of obstacles and could be used in a autonomous navigation system.
These elements show that the MX11 will be designed for a urban environment rather than to go off the beaten track, unlike the Mercedes G580 4×4, which can make U-turns on itself. Provided for 2026detailed information on this SUV is currently rare.
