Fifth spin-off from The Walking Dead universe, the series centered on Daryl Dixon is finally available in France. Broadcast since November 10 on Paramount+, it takes this very popular character on an apocalyptic adventure across France.
In The Waking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the hero played by Norman Reedus tries to survive in France and will do everything to return home. But through his encounters, Daryl will have to accomplish a perilous mission: protect Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi), a child considered the messiah in this apocalyptic context, and take him to a safe place so that he can save humanity.
He is accompanied by Isabelle (Clémence Poésy), a fighter who operates with a religious cover, and Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) on his journey through France, which takes him notably to Paris.

But before reaching the capital, Daryl and his companions cross the province and meet a group of lonely children in episode 2 of the first season of the series. This troop survives as a very organized community thanks to their leader Lou, played by Kim Higelin.

This film adaptation of Vanessa Springora’s shocking book is a surprise hit in French cinemas, in particular thanks to TikTok users who share their strong emotions and reactions after seeing the film.
