After agreeing on a settlement, Prince Andrew is said to have made the required payment to plaintiff Virginia Giuffre.

In the abuse trial of Prince Andrew (62) and Virginia Roberts Giuffre (38), an out-of-court settlement was reached in mid-February. Now the son of Queen Elizabeth II (95) is said to have paid the required amount of compensation. This is reported by the British news agency PA. Accordingly, it should be an eight-digit amount.

The British newspaper “The Sun” recently reportedthat Prince Charles (73) should pay most of the out-of-court settlement. In order to raise the sum for his younger brother, Charles is said to have even taken out a loan. The British taxpayer is said to have paid none of it. The Queen also paid part of the compensation out of her own pocket. The Queen is said to have donated £2million to Roberts Giuffre’s charity fund.

Out-of-court settlement in mid-February

The civil case that threatened Andrew before the settlement is now said to be nearing an end. The relevant court documents, which only require a signature from the responsible New York judge, are said to have been sent on Monday. The settlement that Andrew and Giuffre agreed on in mid-February allowed the Queen’s son to avert civil litigation in the United States. Giuffre had accused Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was a minor and sued in the United States.
