The first deliveries of the AI Pin, announced last November, are looming. The start date for shipments of this intriguing gadget, which aims to replace the smartphone, has in fact been announced.
Start of deliveries in March
This new product, called AI Pin, was designed for two former Apple engineers. Designed to compete with the smartphone as we know it today, the device comes in the form of a badge equipped with the GPT-4 artificial intelligence model and controllable by voice command. Without a screen, the device can display certain information on its user’s hand using a miniaturized projector.
We are excited to announce that Ai Pin will start shipping in March 2024.

Humane, the company that markets the AI Pin, indicates that the first shipments will take place from March 2024. In a publication on X (formerly Twitter), Humane explains that buyers who have selected the priority shipping option will be the first to receive this state-of-the-art item. The order of shipments will also be determined based on the date of purchase. Humane’s online store has also been updated, with the e-commerce site now stating that shipping will begin in March.
For the moment, the AI Pin is reserved for customers based in the United States. Accessible from $699, the gadget is available in several finishes. It is necessary to add to this price a subscription of $24 per month, allowing the AI Pin to connect to the Internet. For this, Humane has established a partnership with the access provider T-Mobile.
