Air Cooker NX0950/90: the new affordable multicooker from Philips

Philips is already well established in the culinary sector and is multiplying household appliances. Last year, the Dutch manufacturer tackled multicookers with the NX0960/96. With its different modes (including steam cooking) and its LED screen, the device does not escape premium price placement.

This year, Philips is releasing a new model to complete the range. This time, the Series 3000 NX0950/90 abandons the LED screen, originally placed on the front of the multicooker. Instead, a display with touch controls allows you to turn on the Philips and launch the various programs. In all, nine modes are available to the user and take care of automatically adjusting the cooking time and the heating temperature – steam cooking is also always in the game. As such, the manufacturer’s NutriFlavor technology would make it possible to best define these cooking settings, in addition to the level of humidity, according to the food placed in the tank.

Different accessories are compatible with the new Air Cooker, just like for the NX0960/96. A basket, a lower tray, a saucepan and a second tier can be combined to allow simultaneous cooking, such as vegetables on one side accompanied by a fish.

On the other hand, the lid of this new multicooker adopts a new style: it is now completely removable. Philips has surely opted for this configuration to counterbalance the absence of the glass present on the previous model. Cooks will therefore no longer be able to take a quick look at their preparation, they will have to fully discover the Air Cooker.

Additionally, the Philips Series 3000 NX0950/90 works together with the NutriU app. By downloading it to an iOS or Android phone, the app offers several salty and sweet recipes. The recipes are detailed step by step and provide an update on their nutritional contributions.

Already available, the Air Cooker Philips Series 3000 NX0950/90 is priced at €380, compared to nearly €600 for its predecessor.
