Visit to Doskozil
After her success, the young woman from southern Burgenland was able to visit Governor Hans Peter Doskozil in his office, who warmly congratulated her on her victory. “Lena Unger has demonstrated her commitment excellently,” emphasizes Doskozil. His thanks also go to all 309 fire departments in Burgenland, which already have more than 18,000 members, including 14,000 active ones who rescue people, put out fires, recover wrecks or pump out flooded cellars around the clock.
