PARIS, March 31 (Reuters) – The Air France-KLM group announced in a press release on Thursday the early renewal of Benjamin Smith’s term of office as Chief Executive Officer for a period of five years.

“The group’s board of directors has decided to renew Benjamin Smith’s term of office as group chief executive officer for an additional period of five years, i.e. until the general meeting called to approve the accounts of the group. financial year 2026, scheduled for May 2027”, specifies the group in this press release.

The Air France KLM Board of Directors has also validated the appointment of Marjan Rintel as Chief Executive Officer of KLM, effective July 1.

Currently managing director of the main train operator in the Netherlands, NS, Marjan Rintel will succeed Pieter Elbers.
