PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Air France-KLM said on Tuesday it had signed two contracts with suppliers Neste and DG Fuels for the supply of 1.6 million tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
“These contracts are an important first step towards achieving one of the group’s objectives: to incorporate 10% of SAF by 2030. These contracts will represent approximately 3 of these 10%”, underlined the air carrier in a press release. .
The first deliveries of SAF are expected in 2023.
