March 22 (Reuters) – Industrial gas specialist Air Liquide plans to at least triple its hydrogen revenue to more than 6 billion euros by 2035, the group said on Tuesday. when presenting its new medium-term objectives.

As one of the largest hydrogen producers in the world, Air Liquide intends to benefit from the acceleration of the energy transition and will invest around 8 billion euros in the low-carbon hydrogen value chain by 2035. , the company said in a statement.

The company, which supplies gases such as oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen to factories and hospitals, also sees its sales grow by 5 to 6% on average per year until 2025 and its operating margin s improve by about 160 basis points over four years.
