Airbus: agreement with Linde around hydrogen

(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus announces that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Linde, an American-German industrialist specializing in Gas and Engineering, in order to look into the development of hydrogen infrastructure in airports around the world.

The agreement notably provides for collaboration in hydrogen supply chains as well as on its production and storage at airports. Pilot projects will be launched in several airports from the beginning of next year.

The two partners also plan to assess the potential of so-called ‘Power-to-Liquid’ fuels, a type of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) made from synthetically produced liquid hydrocarbon.
