Airbus: first A321neo on lease for Transavia

(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus announces that the Dutch low-cost airline Transavia Airlines, a subsidiary of Air France-KLM, has taken delivery of its first A321neo leased from the Air Lease Corporation group.

The aircraft was delivered from Airbus’ production sites in Hamburg, taking advantage of Airbus’ option for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on its delivery flight to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

This first A321neo marks the start of Transavia Airlines’ transition to a fleet entirely composed of the latest generation Airbus, and ‘will play a key role in achieving the airline group’s sustainable development objectives’.
