Airbus has selected Avio Aero of Italy to equip the Eurodrone unmanned aerial system with its engine and propeller solution, called Catalyst.
The Catalyst is a flight-proven engine, entirely developed and manufactured in Europe.
The key aspects in the selection of Eurodrone suppliers are competitiveness, performance, the ability to meet the demanding delivery schedule and the ability to meet service demand.
“The catalyst was identified as the best solution based on higher performance, lower development risk, better in-service economy as well as growth potential,” said Jean-Brice Dumont, head of military aircraft at Airbus. Defense and Space.
