Airbus: United Airlines orders 60 A321neo planes


(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus announces that United Airlines has placed an order for 60 additional A321neo aircraft, supporting its ‘United Next’ initiative aimed at integrating new aircraft into its fleet, as well as standardizing and improving its global network .

The American airline had previously ordered 50 A321XLR and 70 A321neo aircraft. With this new order, its direct purchase commitment from the European aircraft manufacturer now covers 180 A321s.

The aircraft’s environmental performance will support United Airlines in its goal of reducing CO₂ emissions, and its Airspace cabin will include the latest lighting technologies to reduce jet lag.
