Activity of 3 th quarter 2023

At 3 th quarter 2023, Airwell publishes a turnover of €14.2 million, a slight increase of +0.7% compared to the 3 th quarter 2022. This performance is in line with the expectations announced during the publication of the 2023 half-year results ( cf. press release of September 19, 2023 ). It includes the contribution of Amzair Industrie (now Airwell Industrie), consolidated since 1 er July 2023, for €0.7 million.

The evolution was heterogeneous on this 3 th quarter 2023 with strong growth in mainland France (+53.0% to €7.4 million) driven by a very dynamic market thanks to the commercial success of the Airwell offer and the signing of new distributors. This very good performance achieved in mainland France largely offset the anticipated decline in the overseas territories, limited to -9.0% over this quarter, a clear improvement compared to 1 er semester. Activity in the Antilles is gradually returning to its previous order levels after being impacted by the reorganization that took place at the start of the year at a distributor.

The “International” zone experienced a one-off decline in this quarter due to a delay in orders which will be delivered on the 4th. th quarter (in particular RAC products [1] ).

In total, at the end of 9 months, Airwell achieved a turnover of €46.7 million, an increase of +9.0% compared to the same period in 2022 (+7.3% at constant scope). The mainland France area came to €22.8 million, up +32.0% and represented 49% of sales over 9 months. The DOM-TOM zone posted a turnover of €4.9 million at the end of the 9 months of the financial year, or 10% of sales. Finally, the turnover achieved over 9 months internationally amounts to €19.0 million (+6.7% compared to 2022), or 41% of sales.

At the end of the 9 months of the financial year, the sectoral distribution of sales remains identical to 2022 with 94% in the residential market and 6% in the tertiary sector.

In terms of residential equipment, sales of air/water heat pumps are growing very strongly (+57.7%) and represent €15.0 million over the 9 months of the 2023 financial year. RAC sales [2] amounted to €24.5 million at the end of 9 months (-17.2%) and will accelerate significantly in the next quarter for export and in France. Also note the rise in the renewable energy supply (photovoltaic panels) which represents €3.1 million at the end of the 9 months of the 2023 financial year (compared to €0.3 million in 2022).

Confirmation of double-digit growth for the 2023 financial year

Thanks to the differentiating positioning of its offers in a still buoyant market, supported by a strong and encouraging government policy in France on the “Made in France” heat pump market, Airwell is very well positioned to continue its growth.

With a very good portfolio, particularly in mainland France, and taking into account the return to normative activity in the French Overseas Territories and the expected catch-up internationally, the Group anticipates a clear acceleration in its growth in 4 th quarter.

The Group thus confirms its objective of double-digit growth in its turnover over the entire 2023 financial year, in line with that of 1 er semester. The Group also reiterates its 2025 ambitions of a turnover greater than €100 million coupled with an EBITDA greater than 5%.

Next publication: Annual turnover: Tuesday February 6, 2024, after market close.
