An 18-year-old was hit by a car while crossing a protective path in Villach.
A 68-year-old driver was driving her car in Villach towards Ossiacher Zeile on Tuesday. Suddenly she heard the horn of an emergency vehicle. She wanted to avoid him, but overlooked a pedestrian who was crossing a zebra crossing. The woman was unable to steer to the side in time and caught the man from Villach. He was thrown onto the street by the force of the impact and remained injured on the ground. He was immediately taken to the hospital.
