A man was shot dead in Aix-en-Provence, in the middle of the street, at the end of the afternoon this Saturday, AFP learned from the Bouches-du-Rhône police headquarters.
The homicide took place in the Duranne district, added the same source.
The 45-year-old victim was killed with a shotgun while he was near his car, said a source close to the investigation.
The investigation was handed over to the federal police.
