Alan Wake 2 clearly turned everyone’s brains upside down when it was released. More than a survival horror, it is a breathtaking video game experience. The good news is that the game still has surprises in store, like expansions. While waiting for their arrival, the studio has just deployed a new update, and it is simply massive. There are many changes to note, and the biggest of them were greatly desired by the players.
Alan Wake 2 rolls out a colossal new update
Are you one of the people seduced by the writer’s new adventures? You are not alone, and that is normal. After Control, Remedy hit hard with the worthy successor to Alan Wake. However, he has not said his last word. And this results first of all in the arrival of various and varied patches, like the one we are going to talk about today. Update 1.15 has finally been deployed, to the delight of fans. But be careful, we are not exaggerating when we say that it is colossal.
We are not going to go into details regarding the fixes. There are a good number of them, tackling a significant number of bugs. What interests us here is the big new features, starting with the selection of chapters. Yes, this was not understood from the release, and it surprised more than one. Now you can replay any mission during the adventure. Depending on your equipment and where you are in the story, the game will adapt you to the chapter you select. This is a welcome addition for Alan Wake 2.
The other feature that is worth a look is an option found in the settings. It will allow you to adjust the intensity of the flashes that appear on the screen during certain horrific sequences. Sometimes it could hurt the eyes of some players a little. Now they can make it weaker. The same goes for audio.

We are not going to give you the complete list of changes made by update 1.15 for Alan Wake 2. As we said above, you simply have to remember that there are a lot of fixes to declare. We will still put some of the big changes to remember below. Keep in mind that this is just a preview.

- The graphics have been refined.
