For those of you who have already completed the adventure, know that you will be able to extend the experience through additional content, some of which will be free and others paid for.

Alan Wake 2 : a New Game+ mode is coming soon
In the FAQ dedicated to Alan Wake 2we learn that the title will soon welcome a New Game+ mode, entitled The Final Draft. This will allow you to dive back into the horrific adventure alongside Alan and Saga Anderson, while retaining the improvements unlocked during your first game.
Even more interesting, Remedy promises us that the narrative will be somewhat disrupted by the arrival of new manuscript pages and new video content. What makes you already want to return to Bright Falls? Without a doubt !
Although this new mode will obviously be deployed for free, we do not know, however, the exact date on which it will be published. Either way, know that it will be accompanied by a new difficulty mode called “ Nightmare », and that a Photo mode will also be offered later.
Remedy announces two paid DLCs for Alan Wake 2
In 2024, not one, but two new paid extensions will complete the story told in Alan Wake 2. The first DLC, titled “ Night Springs », will immerse the player in the shoes of different characters seen in the television series of the same name. The second DLC, for its part, will be called “ The Lake House » and will focus on “ a mysterious facility located on the shores of Cauldron Lake, created by an independent government organization to conduct secret research… “.
You will have understood, everything suggests that this second extension, which will allow players to once again embody Alan and Saga, will create some bridges between the world ofAlan WakeAnd the one of Control. If the two narrative DLCs will be paid for, they will nevertheless be accessible free of charge to those who have purchased the Deluxe edition.
For the moment, no release date has been communicated apart from a vague “2024”.
