Entertainer is divorced from Thea Gottschalk
More than five years after their separation became known, Thomas and Thea Gottschalk’s marriage has been legally divorced, as he reports.

The couple Thomas and Thea Gottschalk are divorced after almost 50 years of marriage and a long-ago separation, as he confirms.
After around 48 years of marriage, Thomas Gottschalk (73) and Thea Gottschalk (78) are divorced. The divorce was According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, it took place in Munich on May 7th. “Thea and I are amicably and legally divorced. We ask you to refrain from donations of wreaths and flowers,” the popular entertainer told the daily newspaper when asked.
Moving to Munich with Karina Mroß
Gottschalk, who celebrated his farewell to “Wetten, dass…?” in November last year, continued: “We’ve been separated for five years, so you really can’t say that we rushed.” Thea and Thomas Gottschalk met in Munich in 1972. Four years later, the wedding bells rang. In March 2019, the two announced their separation some time ago.
A short time later, in the summer of 2019, Thomas Gottschalk appeared in public for the first time with his new partner Karina Mroß (62). Just a few days ago Mroß explained to the “Bild” newspaperthat the couple had purchased a house in the Munich suburb of Gräfelfing. A move from Baden-Baden is planned after renovation work has been completed. “We are really looking forward to Bavaria!” said Mroß literally. It is not known whether Gottschalk and Mroß plan to go to the altar together after the entertainer’s divorce is finalized.
