In the meantime, the mountain railway employees were able to switch off the electricity, which means that the smoke decreased. The fire brigade that had arrived in the meantime only had to ventilate the building using heavy respiratory protection. “According to previous surveys, the fire may have occurred due to a technical defect,” said the police investigators.
