PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – Renewable energy producer Albioma announced on Tuesday that it had entered into exclusive negotiations with Turcas Petrol for the acquisition of a second geothermal power plant in Turkey, for an undisclosed amount.
“The finalization of this transaction will take place in the coming months, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions precedent, including obtaining prior authorizations from the relevant regulatory and competition authorities,” the group said.
The acquisition of this plant, with an installed capacity of 18 MWe, is part of a strategy of strengthening geothermal energy and international growth, added Albioma.
