Sophia Thomalla + Alexander Zverev are on cloud nine
Only a few weeks ago, Sophia Thomalla, 32, and Alexander Zverev, 24, made their love official, but they are already openly sharing their happiness with the whole world. After the tennis star confidently won his fifth title this year in Vienna, he made girlfriend Sophia a surprising declaration of love in his acceptance speech. “You have to put up with me on the tour for another ten years or so,” said Zverev with a wink after his success against Frances Tiafo, 23, and emphasized: “Thank you for being by my side lately. I hope it won’t the last time we will touch a trophy together. ” The 24-year-old also reveals: “It’s nice to have a woman who knows what she wants in life. She is a great woman. There is a reason why we are together and why we have chosen each other.”
Sophia Thomalla reacted to the sweet words with a grin and a kiss – and is now back on Instagram. To a photo in which her lover proudly kisses his trophy and another shot in which the athlete gives her a passionate kiss, she writes: “Congrats my love! I couldn’t be more proud of you!” But Sophia wouldn’t be Sophia if she didn’t shoot another joke and take the wind out of the sails of all critics who have something to complain about the relationship: “I’m more exhausted than you. Must be the age,” jokes the 32-year-old.
Mats Hummels openly shows his son Ludwig
He’s playing for the title of “German Champion” with his club – and Mats Hummels, 32, the biggest fan is of course his son Ludwig. The three-year-old cheered on his dad during the EM, as his mom Cathy Hummels, 33, proved with an Instagram video in the summer. Now the professional soccer player took his offspring to the stadium and showed his son’s face to the public for the first time.
Before the match between Borussia Dortmund and 1. FC Köln, father and son ran hand in hand across the lawn, giggling and cuddling. Of course, the little one also had the right outfit ready: a jersey from Borussia Dortmund, the club for which Mats Hummels has been back on the field since 2019.
Dortmund defeated Cologne 2-0 on Saturday (October 30, 2021) and is second in the table, one point behind leaders Bayern Munich. But real VIP fans should have had a completely different reason to celebrate in Signal-Iduna-Park with Ludwig’s appearance.
