“Tagesthemen” presenter Aline Abboud has become a mother for the first time. She announces the beautiful news on social media.

In September last year there was Aline Abboud, 36, announced her pregnancy and has now welcomed her first child into the world. The “Tagesthemen” presenter announced this with a cute snapshot via Instagram.

On her account she posts a photo in which she is holding her newborn’s little hand. “We’re fine,” she writes, adding the hashtags “Love of my life,” “Best time,” and “You’re growing too fast.” However, the news anchor does not reveal any further details about her baby. She keeps the gender and name of her child to herself.

Numerous fans and some celebrities congratulated the proud mother in the comments section. “Congratulations, dear Aline!” cheers colleague Caren Miosga, 55. Dunja Hayali, 49, also left kind words under the post.

“The only night shift I look forward to”

At the end of September 2023, Aline Abboud announced that she was expecting her first child. “The only night shift I’m looking forward to,” she wrote on the social media platform about a picture in which she stands in front of a front door in Berlin with a baby bump and looks into the distance.

At the beginning of June last year it was announced that the previous “Tagesthemen” presenter Pinar Atalay, 45, was moving to RTL on August 1st in order to help shape the expansion of the information and news offerings there. Since September 2021, Abboud has been moderating “Tagesthemen” as Atalay’s successor, alternating with Ingo Zamperoni, 49, and Caren Miosga. Since January, Aline has again been represented by colleague Julia-Niharika Sen, 56.
